What We Do

Education, Tennis, and Community

Dear friends,

In 2013, I founded the Sloane Stephens Foundation with a primary goal of enhancing the quality of life for youth, through exposure to tennis as a basis for life-long learning, and healthy lifestyle choices.

The Foundation’s vision is to assist in developing a constructive future for young people by providing educational opportunities and encouraging healthy lifestyles, proper nutrition, and participation in physical fitness activities; cultivate a new generation of tennis players; and help empower children around the world, to dream big and achieve, on and off the court.

A personal message from Sloane Stephens

The Foundation

As my daily attention and preparation is required in order to be the best tennis player that I can be, I have assembled a highly competent team to manage the day-to-day operation of the Foundation, partnering with like-minded organizations that share our vision.  Through these alliances, we will expose thousands of youth annually to a variety of opportunities that they may otherwise never experience. We are collaborating with local and national organizations to help youth achieve greatness!

Programs that the Sloane Stephens Foundation supports include Compton Unified School District Junior Tennis Program, Fresno County Office of Education Junior Tennis Program,  Soles4Souls, and Poverello House of Fresno, CA. The Foundation is also working with several organizations to create junior tennis programs in Broward County, Florida.

In addition to these programs, the Foundation has provided other support in our initial target communities. In December 2014, the Foundation donated and distributed meals to two-hundred families at Boys and Girls Clubs locations in Broward County, Florida, and collaborated with the Bright Spirit Children’s Foundation at the Children’s Hospital in Madera, California to deliver thirty X-Box systems.

In 2015, ‘Love, Love Compton’ was created in conjunction with Compton school administrators, principals and teachers to provide an ongoing model that builds on the educational foundation of the school district, with a unique athletic component.  Love, Love Compton is active in a number of elementary schools and growing every month.

Collaboration is key to success for individuals and organizations alike, and we are hopeful that you will choose to support our efforts.

To be clear, when the need arises, I will be there to support you and your organization.

I am so thankful to have realized my dream as a tennis career, and I am passionate about creating opportunities for young people to achieve their dreams and become their best selves. On behalf of the Sloane Stephens Foundation, I appreciate your consideration, support and shared commitment to our youth.

Sincerely,
Sloane Stephens
