At the Sloane Stephens Foundation, we believe that taking care of one's mental health is just as important as physical health. That's why we offer the following mental health resources for our students:
Self-esteem and wellness groups: Led by a social worker, therapist, or school psychologist, these groups focus on helping our students prepare for daily life by building self-esteem and teaching wellness strategies.
Meditation: Our students love meditation! In fact, 97% of them have identified it as their favorite part of the day.
SEL training for coaches: We believe that mental health education should be an integral part of our coaching program. That's why we provide Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) training for our coaches, so they can provide the best support possible for our students.
At the Sloane Stephens Foundation, we are committed to the holistic development of our students. By providing mental health resources in addition to our tennis and education programs, we hope to help our students grow into healthy, well-rounded individuals.
